Week 6 was a big week of swimming. We had our final lessons at Cameron Pools on Tuesday and Thursday and THEN the Senior Swimming Sports on Friday. It was fantastic to see everyone showing off their skills and Miss Daly got to get in the pool too! Streamline swimming in the big pool On Wednesday we had a visit from an Oral Health Care advisor. She told us some very interesting (and horrifying) facts about our teeth. Hopefully everyone took away some information and skills to ensure we are brushing our teeth properly. Amazingly our posture also affects how our adult teeth are formed...who knew? This is what was still on a boys teeth AFTER brushing straight across (not in circles) Teaching Jaimie how to floss

Testing Testing and MORE testing. Finally we have finished and now we can get on with out learning. We have also been having some fantastic water safety lessons at Cameron Pools. We have learnt how to float and save our energy if we fall into the water with our clothes on and with a lifejacket. We have been looking at Natasha Shakleton as our chosen New Zealand artist. We have looked at her style of painting and what she paints and the colours she uses. We are now going to design our own pictures in her style. Here is one of her paintings.
