Week 4 in Room 10

Another busy week in Room 10. We have begun our Art pieces for the exhibition next week...exciting! We have been practicing Te Rakau in Te Reo Maori. After many misses and flying sticks we have finally got some rhythm going.  We had a great swimming session at Cameron pools (see the pictures below) and we began some science experiments about the water cycle. We know all about Collection - Evaporation - Condensation and Precipitation. Mother nature gave us lots to work with this week.
Being stuck indoors meant some fun challenges. Here are some pictures of us practicing our dictionary skills in pairs. Well done to Amaya and Nikhil for winning that challenge!

Outside of the school students of Room 10 have been having great success in sports. Every Monday we have our sports news report where the students can share their successes and losses from their weekend sport. Amaya shared with us the medal she won in Judo, here is a photo of her in her gi and orange belt.
