Our new Playground and equipment

Wow our new playground is here and its AWESOME!!!! We had an official opening today, the Kapahaka group sang a welcoming waiata, then Mr Craig (Board of Trustees chairman) officially opened it, by cutting the ribbon. The seniors took a buddy junior over first. Each class had a turn for half an hour, we went today and it was FUN.
We have also had two new basketball hoops installed. We have 6 skateboards and 10 helmets that the school has purchased to use on our NEW RAMPS!
So much fun to be had at school.

  1. Hi there! My name's Oscar form Manukau, Te Waka Ako, Waikowhai Primary School. It's been really awesome playing on our new playground and all the ramps at school. It's really cool to see all those pictures of kids enjoying their time. Have you considered doing a sign out at the end of your blog post? For example, 'That's all from me, bye!' or 'Blog you later!'. If you would like to see my learning my blog address is http://wpsoscarc.blogspot.com/

  3. Hey there Kaiwhare its me Sebastian from Te Waka Ako.
I really liked the way you guys put in a lot of detail and
ideas into this blog post. This blog post reminds me of
the time when I got a swing at my house and then I jumped
on it and then it all fell down and then I couldn't get another one.
Maybe next time you could translate the word waiata
into English because some people wont know what that means.
Please check out my learning blog at.
