Our new Playground and equipment
Wow our new playground is here and its AWESOME!!!! We had an official opening today, the Kapahaka group sang a welcoming waiata, then Mr Craig (Board of Trustees chairman) officially opened it, by cutting the ribbon. The seniors took a buddy junior over first. Each class had a turn for half an hour, we went today and it was FUN. We have also had two new basketball hoops installed. We have 6 skateboards and 10 helmets that the school has purchased to use on our NEW RAMPS! So much fun to be had at school.
Weekly Ponder - Week 7
Welcome to Waitemata's new weekly ponder. Each week I will put a new topic up for discussion and I invite you all to comment and discuss your thoughts. Here is this weeks ponder.... Annnnnnnd go........
I think it would be great to find aliens on another planet. I would like to see how they are different to us and other animals. I would start off with making them my friend then I would make them my minions. How great would it be to have aliens as minions?! They would follow you around every where and if you got into trouble they will always be there. The only problem would be if they attacked me uh-oh. The only way to communicate would probably be to use signs, I mean we could give it a shot. I really wonder if they had super powers then I would try put there blood in me and boom I am a superhero that is why I would want to make contact. ReplyDeleteIf there was life on another planet I would not want to make contact because there might be lots of aliens on the planet and it would be a bit creepy seeing what they look like and also a bit creepy talking to them. I also might not understand what the aliens are saying.

ReplyDeleteI make contact by emailing them is they have a computer or a phone, it will be amazing because I will learn so many different words from a different language. I will say " How are you today" or
" What's you name". I will communicate with them by playing chess or hide and seek, also the on,y way to communicate with them will be by playing with them . If I found out that their was another planet I will make them my little minions.
If I fould life ona nother planet would not want to because they might attack because they do not know you and that would be scary. They also might follow you when you are flying back down to earth and maybe educt earth. They might even bang on your ship when you land.
ReplyDeleteIf there was another planet I would go to it and check it out. Also if there were aliens living there I would use a machine to translate what they are saying and use the machine to talk back to them. And if climate change took over earth we could live on the planet. Maybe we could teach them our language and we could learn theirs. Lastly if we could live on the planet we could learn how the aliens live and maybe act and live like them.
ReplyDeleteIf there was life on another planet I would get in contact as soon as I could. I would wont to know all about there life and what they do all day and what planet they are on! I would say what's your name? Then I would say what's your favorite color? After I ask all those questions, I would ask, are you an alien? I would communicate by satellites and phones.
ReplyDeleteWell if I could talk to them I would go to there planet and bring my phone. Then I would go onto google translate if they didn't speak English but if they didn't speak any Earth language's then that would be a problem. Though if they did I would ask what there name is and if they have better or worse technology if they had better technology then I would ask if I could have some take it back to Earth and then become rich and famous.
