Our new Playground and equipment
Wow our new playground is here and its AWESOME!!!! We had an official opening today, the Kapahaka group sang a welcoming waiata, then Mr Craig (Board of Trustees chairman) officially opened it, by cutting the ribbon. The seniors took a buddy junior over first. Each class had a turn for half an hour, we went today and it was FUN. We have also had two new basketball hoops installed. We have 6 skateboards and 10 helmets that the school has purchased to use on our NEW RAMPS! So much fun to be had at school.

ReplyDeleteI think Photoshop should be allowed but only for things not people. People need to get used to who they are and they need to be true to themselves. They need to show themselves for who they are. If it is a building or a toy or any kind of object then they can Photoshop it. The app should have a camera that only clicks or focuses of objects not people.
ReplyDeleteThe camera that doesn't allow people's photo to be taken should also not allow famous monument photos to be taken as if they share that photo shopped famous monument photo with someone who hasn't seen it and they see that it is a amazing place that may or may not have been built in the olden days still looks like it has just been painted and they go to see it themselves but when they go there it looks different because the photo that they have seen had been photo shopped they would be very disappointed. By photo shopping a famous monument you are changing its true beauty. Everything is beautiful the way it is and it should stay that way. That is my opinion on "Should we use Photoshop?"
I do not think it is okay. You are tricking people which is bad. People that read magazines might buy a trip to a place and then it does not look as pretty as people think it is. So it is a waste of money that they earn. Also as an example people might think that this toothpaste makes your teeth super white and things like that. But it has just been photo shoped and is not true. I do not think photo shop is good at all like you see the before an after photos. Of Venice and Harry Styles that is completely and utterly tricking you that is just my perspective of that.
ReplyDeletePeople might think that using Photoshop is a good thing to do but it's not..... I think Photoshop should not be allowed because it's not really that use full and people should show there real skin then show people fake skin, it's a really bad thing to do because your kind of lying to the WORLD. It's not okay to take photo's of something that's really pretty like the river in the photo it's very pretty without Photoshop

I think that photoshops should not be allowed. I think this because if you saw a magizene about a building and it looked so pretty then you went there and it wasn't as you expected that would be a waste. Also, teenagers that look at a magizene and there is some pretty skinny person on the cover they will say things like, "Why don't I look like that?" or "I want to look like that." They will want to buy the product and when they get it, it will be a waste of money because it doesn't do anything.
ReplyDeletePhotoshops shouldn't be allowed because it's not what it actually looks like. Many people might think that it's real but it isn't. Photoshop tricks you into thinking that their product or a place is good but really it's not. I also don't think this is okay because it's not really them, it's the computer making them look good. It is also lying to people that they need to buy the product but they actually don't.
That's why I think that photoshops should not be allowed.

ReplyDeleteBecause ads are just making people buy things but it really is not the same as the ad when you open the box. Ads are making people go to far places that look good on TV but actually look pretty bad in real life

Because it makes things look good and will make people buy homes and clothes.
Some people want to look good in photos so it's nice to use Photoshop, if you want to look good in photos. Some people don't want to show their real face so they could use Photoshop to hide there face.
If we had photo shops around the world it would be amazing because when you look at your self you could imagine how beautiful you are. Photo shops should be allowed because we can see what has happened before and what has happened after. When I mean before what it looks back then when everything was so boring, and when I mean after it means what has really changed a lot from before ,and also after is like that when before was very odd, also like when after is even.
ReplyDeleteIf we had photo shops it will cool because we can see what we actually look like in real life and what we look like with what has been edited. Photo shops should be allowed in countries and in arcades because when we take photos we can see what is in the past and right now. We can test it on our teachers to see if they are really beautiful or not.

I think that it should be allowed for photographers. Mainly because photographers need to spot things like rashes to stop it annoying people. So I think it's okay as long as people use it the right way like for bright anything dark, or getting rid of unnecessary things.

For those who don't know what photoshop is, it is an app that makes unpretty things into prettier pictures. But should it be allowed? I think using photoshp should not be allowed. It is a waste of money and you are taking away the photos' real looks. When you are using photo shop and you add it on a magazine or TV you are making other poeple waste their time and money believing something looks good when it isn't.

I think that photoshop should not be allowed because someone could look on a newspapers and see a photo that looks really pretty and their shops and houses are light color but in real life all the houses and shops are dark colors and are very dirty. Because it looks so pretty they could say that they want to go to that place because it looks like a nice and beautiful place but when they get there it has polluted water and rubbish on the ground. I could also be wasting money if you go to a place that looks dirty.
ReplyDeleteAlso another reason is because there could be a photo of a person that has nice and smooth skin and it could tell you some things that you can use to get nice skin but if you get it, you could use it but it doesn't work so it would be a waste of money buying things that doesnt work for the things you want it to work on.

ReplyDeleteI think Photoshop should not be allowed to be used because a lot of people are taking photos of things and trying to make it look better afterwards. Most people will use Photoshop because they try to make everything look 'perfect' the right way.
ReplyDeleteAlso because when they post something on social media people will actually think that the photo they took was actually real which makes a 'perfect' life.
I think we shouldn't use Photoshop because some photos don't need to look really good and the photos is good how it is and people might think that the photo is real.

I think that photo-shops are not cool because some people might want to see what they really look like. I think that we should not also because it's like keeping a secret from the people who see the photo. What I think is that we should not have photo-shops because we will not like see the real thing because they might of add colour to make it more cooler. The people have to pay for the app and it also makes look nicer then it is but I still think that it is.
ReplyDeleteI also think that we should use photo-shops because some people just don't want the world to see there face and what they look like but they are still going to be on the TV or something. It makes everything nicer and colourful photos. I will also make people like your photo but when they find out that was not how you look like then will maybe block you.
I believe that photoshop should not be used in certain ways. If you are putting up a travel magazine or if you are putting up a real estate magazine you should not be allowed to photoshop the place to make it more desirable. I think that you should not be allowed to use photoshop for marketing.
ReplyDeleteI think that photoshop should be allowed if you are just playing around. Like writing words in or changing color or that stuff. So I think it is fine if you are just playing around but it is not ok if you are using it to make something more.
